ORIGIN:
Africa, south-central part of the country, bordering Kenya and Somalia including the upper Daua Parma basin and a large section of the Lakes region. What is special about this coffee is that it is often grown in small plots of many small local producers and families instead of in large plantations.

ALTITUDE:
1,800 m. asl.

CRIVEL:
Undetermined. No importance is given to the size of the grain so much so that it appears small. It is graded to indicate the amount of defects on 300 g. Gr. 2 = 4-12 defects.

TIME OF COLLECTION:
October – January

PREPARATION:
By wet route with fermentation. A “washed” coffee is obtained. It is then exposed to the sun for drying.

DESCRIPTION:
Fine-textured hazelnut-colored cream with dark brown dots. Intense and strong aroma. Medium-low acidity. It presents floral notes. Good tactile balance, aftertaste of spices, licorice and herbs. The whole closes with a wild hint.
